(December 10th, 2019) – Sports marketing agency Shankai Sports took home two awards at “Jian Yue SportsIn” the fifth annual SportIN Sports Industry Conference and Sports Bank Award Ceremony, which was co-hosted by Sports Bank, Sports Bank Business School and Haidian Culture and Tourism Group. The conference attracted many domestic and foreign speakers ranging from well-known scholars and economists, sports enterprise executives, and former Olympic and World champions. In total, 37 awards were handed out.
ShanKai secures two awards including ‘Most Influential Sports Brand of 2019’ and ‘Best Sports Marketing and Brokerage Agency of 2019’, Mr. Jin Hang, COO of Shankai Sports got awarded as representative.
To ensure accurate results, the winning criteria was vigorously based on expert review including in-depth interviews conducted by the organizing committee, media influence, think tank research and industry research.
Shankai was among the winners, securing two awards including ‘Most Influential Sports Brand of 2019’ and ‘Best Sports Marketing and Brokerage Agency of 2019’. In addition, the Shankai-operated PGA TOUR Series-China golfing series won the ‘Most Innovative Event’ award of 2019.
With over a decade of experience in the domestic and international sports sector, Shankai has contributed to a number of influential sponsorship projects with high-net worth Chinese enterprises by providing these enterprises with sponsorship rights activation services. Starting in 2018, Shankai was also named the exclusive operator of the PGA TOUR Series-China, which is the only international sports tour in China. The Tour attracts elite professional golfers and is jointly sponsored by the China Golf Association and the PGA TOUR.
Shankai and the PGA TOUR Series-China prides itself on providing local talent a pathway to the Olympics and the PGA TOUR. Dou Zecheng and Zhang Xinjun have led the way for aspiring professionals when they became the first Chinese mainland players to obtain their membership for the PGA TOUR in 2017 through this platform.
PGA TOUR Series-China, exclusively operated by ShanKai, won the ‘Most Innovative Event’ award of 2019.
Li Haotong also played on the PGA TOUR Series-China in 2014 and is now the highest ranked Chinese golfer in the world. Ranked 64th in the world, Li also represented China in the Rio 2016 Olympics, as well as the Presidents Cup this week.
The PGA TOUR Series-China provides world ranking points, which helps provide an opportunity for Chinese professionals to try and make the team for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Starting in 2020, the PGA TOUR Series-China will also introduce new policies to allow more Chinese young amateur players the chance to participate in the events in order to help career development.
